What to expect
A group for experienced writers looking to develop long-form pieces in a supportive community of creatives, the Writing Room Extra is a space to explore script writing at a deeper level, to create polished pieces with an eye to professional development.
Writers share and feedback on each other’s dramatic pieces with Lisle’s guidance and through practical exercises.
Additionally, once a year the group write to a brief to collectively create a brand new site specific theatre production which was recently funded by the Arts Council, directed by Claire Coaché (Open Sky) and produced by Estelle van Warmelo (Feral Productions.
This talent development project brought in performing arts students who worked with professional actors and a high quality creative team to produce a radical immersive dining experience in a local burger restaurant, Love Bites.
