Li’l Suzy Got Married

A one-off wedding event in Grosmont church where the guests are fully immersed in the best and the worst wedding stories ever imagined. Why is the bride weeping in a corner? How come the catering has been reduced to bubbly and biscuits? And isn’t that the best man snogging the groom’s mum in the loos?

About the work

A wedding party to end all wedding parties, mayhem and secrets unfold in the form of direct address. Audiences moved around the church in small groups, witnessing the disastrous truths of each character, each relationship, each catastrophic story.

Finishing the evening with a wedding band and drunken dancing, this was a sold out, one-off fundraising event for Feral.

Totally bonkers but what a great night.

How we made it
